Jean Neuhardt

With a degree in Physical Education and Dance, Jean found Callanetics to be close to a “perfect” program.  She taught High School, Adult ed., and Elementary School Physical Education.  Her major goals for her exercise students are:  proper body alignment, improving flexibility and strength, and teaching a back friendly program for many levels (allowing for individual success, making the class suit many levels).

STRETCH and TONE is a wonderful blend of Pilates, Yoga, and stretching-- making use of all major muscle groups.  Regular practice increases muscle endurance, strength, and flexibility.  It is suitable for all ages, allowing for individual  intensity levels.  Callanetic exercises, although easy to do-- create deep muscle contractions retraining, strengthening, and toning with time.  With a foundation in dance, Callanetics is very grounded in proper body alignment  and is back friendly.
